Kindle Users Unite!

I wasn't sure if I needed a Kindle, but I love it. Shopping in the Kindle store is addictive and way to easy though! I have tripled (maybe even quadrupled) my book budget in the last month. Since I can not allow myself to keep spending that much, I've been looking into lending and borrowing with my friends who have kindles. Is there anyone out there who has any tips? I've already realized that of all the titles I purchased, only 1 is lending enabled and it also happens to be the only one I haven't read yet.

Have you had any success in Kindle Lending or Borrowing? Have you heard anything about the Download Zone attached to your local library?
