Stephen King is a cool guy- complicated and simple at the same time. "On Writing" is enjoyable and interesting memoir of King's life told in bits and pieces which give you the feeling he's speaking straight to you, as a friend. There is a brilliant chapter in the middle of the book entitled "What Writing Is" that just might be a time machine...
Loved it- you have to read it.
