Well written and interesting premise, but I did not understand this book. I could accept Rose's gift/curse of being able to taste the feelings of the person making the food- right down to the haste in which the lettuce was picked- but her brother's predicament was not believable. The ending was very abrupt and I'm left wondering what just happened? I liked the turn Rose had been taking- in accepting herself and her special skill and I was happy she had started to reach out to her parents, especially her dad.
